I used GIS and regression analysis to predict Lyme Disease cases in the Northeastern United States. By looking at remote sensing, satellite, and case data I was able to forecast regions that will have higher or lower numbers of Lyme Disease cases three months in advance. A paper is being prepared and will be submitted for publication. This project strengthened my GIS skills and familiarized me with methods for finding and using remote sensing data.
